Kym Faehse Pop Artist Born in Adelaide in 1948, Kym experienced firsthand the emergence of youth culture and the revolution in artistic expression of the 60’s & 70’s, both in Australia and abroad. He studied art and art teaching in Adelaide and graduated in 1968 with top distinction in painting. Inspired by the Michelangelo Antonioni movie “Blow Up”, based on 70’s Vogue photographer David Bailey, he traveled to London and worked as a fashion photographer for 4 years sharing a studio on Bond Street central London. Since returning to Melbourne his design and artistic talents have been expressed in a number of ventures, most notably in the conception and design of original album covers for the likes of, “Jo Jo Zep & the Falcons”, “Mother Goose” & “Nightmoves”. He has now come full circle and gone back to his roots with this POP EXTRAVAGANZA!
